ANKARA, May 20 - A hot air balloon crashed on Monday morning in central Turkish province of Nevsehir, killing one and injured 24, Turkish Today's Zaman reported.
The balloon crashed around 6 a.m. local time when it's flying over Cappadocia, a popular tourist destination, and then collided with another balloon at 300 meters above the ground. The injured were sent to the local hospital for treatment.
In February, a balloon explosion in Egypt's Luxor killed 19 tourists including nine Chinese.
In May of 2009, another hot air balloon incident in Turkey's Cappadocia killed a British and injured eight others.
