BAKU, May 18 - A vehicle carrying 11 soldiers overturned Saturday, killing five occupants and seriously injuring the six others, Azerbaijan's internal ministry said.The accident occurred early Saturday in Guba, a region some 168 km away from Baku, when the vehicle crashed into a tree and overturned as it traveled to Hudat on the Baku-Guba-Rostov highway, the ministry said in a statement.
An investigation was underway to determine the cause of the accident, but police said that bad weather as well as mechanical defects may have been factors in the crash.
