Indonesia, June 20 - A crocodile attacked and killed a pregnant woman and her three-year-old son is still missing in eastern Indonesia.
The woman and her son were attacked by the crocodile when they were crossing a wooden bridge on the Waimea River in Lembata district on Monday.
"Her son remains missing" said Lisa, the district official. adding that the animal resurfaced with the woman's body on Tuesday.
There have been at least five fatal crocodile attacks in Lembata in recent years, the official said, recalling that in April, a crocodile grabbed a 75-year-old woman and ate her.
