MÉXICO, D.F.-the National President of the PAN, Gustavo Madero, dismissed Ernesto Cordero as parliamentary Coordinator of the blue and white in the Senate of the Republic.
On Tuesday the official will announce his successor. In an interview with EL UNIVERSAL, Madero Muñoz said that on Tuesday - in a meeting with the 38 senators--will perform the traditional indicative consultation, which is not binding, to know the feelings of legislators and define the next Coordinator
"Is an absolute fact the removal of Ernesto Cordero, I communicated to him. On Tuesday I won't see the relevance or not change Coordinator, what I see is who they think to be the new Coordinator in an indicative, non-binding consultation,"he explained.
In recent days a group of 24 Senators backed Ernesto Cordero as its Coordinator and said that the removal of the former Finance Minister would bring a division to the bread and the Senate of the Republic.
In this regard, Madero said that he told the own lamb it was not to see how many signatures of support presented next Tuesday, but the indicative consultation will be to know the profile of the new Coordinator.
"There will be a new Coordinator or coordinator of senators, to have the greater articulation of the parliamentary group of senators with the party and members of the bread", said.
Madero said that Cordero expressed his respect, since it is a Faculty of the President and asked him to listen to the Senators: "I'm going to do, but I repeated it was not issue of signatures or user, as it is a decision already taken and I'm reporting it is formally".
The two main reasons that had Madero Muñoz to remove Cordero were constant criticisms that took the Covenant by Mexico and the point of break was the presentation of political and electoral reform of the PAN in the Senate a day after leaders had presented his proposal on the subject.
The names of the senators who are emerging to succeed lamb are: Héctor Larios, Ernesto Ruffo and Juan Carlos Romero Hicks, however, Madero said that it has no defined the new Coordinator.
